About Baekicentre

Baekicentre is a Dhaka-based shop for natural-fibre fashion and home goods. We work with jute, canvas, clay, and linen — materials that already know how to age.

The name is a nod to the centres of craft that still sit just outside the city: looms, wrapping benches, small dye yards. We do not claim that every product is perfectly ecological. We do choose materials with a longer life, and we say so plainly when a finish is mixed.
