From the atelier
Crafted Naturally.
Jute, canvas, and quiet colour — made to be carried every day.
Jute, canvas, linen, clay. Mixed materials are named, not hidden.
Reinforced handles, boxed bases, soles that survive a Dhaka shower.
Pieces meant for years of markets, offices, and slow weekends.
The idea
Baekicentre is a Dhaka shop for natural-fibre fashion and home goods. We work with jute where it is honest.
Our story
A short note on the fibre that built a country’s export memory — and how we use it now.

Fewer pieces, better fibre, colours that already exist in the ground.

How a shopper is cut, stitched, and reinforced so the handles do not give out in month two.
Wore these through a whole Pohela Boishakh week. The wrap is tight and the canvas has not gone grey.
Took it to Karwan Bazar. Handles did not stretch. Looks better dirty, somehow.
Holds its shape. The tan is warmer in person than on screen — in a good way.
Library, office, fruit. The tall cut is the whole trick.
